LLANO TEA PARTY

The Llano Tea Party will be working on a comprehensive Education Program for the 2011 Calendar year which will likely include; special General Meeting Educational/Speaker Sessions; Education Curriculum ; online videos and links to other educational material/sites.

More specific information will be distributed after we have received and evaluated the Member Input Request forms that are currently being completed by our members.

In the interim, we have uploaded and made a few video available on this website. CLICK on the EDUCATION menu item and then on the EDUCATION-VIDEO menu item to select from the list of videos that are available for viewing. (We will be adding more, as time permits)

PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

"WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS" - A study of "the foundational principles and constitutional wisdom that are the true roots of our country's greatness."

DATES OFFERED - There are two pair of Saturdays on which the program will be offered:

JULY 16 and 23

AUGUST 6 and 23

BOTH AT THE LLANO LIBRARY.

WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS, an excellent work by Matthew Spalding, will be your textbook. You will read it before we meet.

Your study leader is Pam Fowler. She will lead discussion of the ten core principles that define our national creed and common purpose.

We will meet two full Saturdays, 9:00am to 4:30pm, lunch at 12:00 to 1:00, on your own.

We will discuss chapters 1 through 6 on the first Saturday and chapters 7 through 11 on the second Saturday.

We will leave our study knowing again (or knowing for the first time) the principles and the truths of the beginning of this country and that knowledge will make it possible for us to reclaim and renew our exceptional America.
